John Taylor
As an editorial photographer with years of experience, John has captured countless stories, from grand events to intimate moments. “My passion lies in finding the extraordinary in the ordinary, transforming mundane scenes into visually captivating narratives,” he says.
His work is defined by a clean, minimalist aesthetic and a focus on storytelling. John believes a powerful image can evoke emotion, spark conversation, and inspire action.
Matt Lovejoy
Matt's passion for photography is rooted in his love for capturing real moments and genuine expressions. He's built his career on finding the story behind every image, whether it's a professional pet portrait or a relaxed family photo session.
Matt's love for photography has taken him across the country, photographing everything from weddings to action sports. Now, with nearly two decades in Utah, he's still driven by the same passion that started it all - capturing the unique personalities and moments that make each photo special.
Braden Latimer
Braden Latimer is a lifelong Utah native with a passion for photography, videography, and capturing the essence of people and nature.
Braden has been a contributor to Utah Stories since 2017. When he isn't traveling the world shooting vibrant photos and video, Braden enjoys hiking, camping, and road-tripping to concerts. His loves include good kombucha, good people, and anything with four legs, fur, and a tail.
Dung Hoang
Dung Hoang is an illustrator and photographer based in Salt Lake City. His photomontage and collage illustrations have been widely commissioned for editorial, design, advertising and publication work. He mixes both traditional and digital techniques to create beautiful, conceptual images that are often painterly, complex and textural. He is a regular contributor to many trade and academic publications including work for Johns Hopkins University, Harvard University, UCLA and The Norwegian Medical Association.
Sam Crump
Sam Crump was raised on MacGregor Ranch in Estes Park, Colorado, developed a love for nature as his parents worked to clear beetle kill. Moving to Boulder at age 10, he learned to find beauty in the city’s bustle. Sam studied graphic arts and printing, gaining skills in visual composition. In his early 20s, he moved to Montgomery, Alabama, where he met photographers Charles Walton IV and Charles “Wildlife” Jarman, inspiring his photography journey. After a fire destroyed his VW microbus in Kansas, he chose to save his camera, realizing photography was his true passion. He now captures the mountains and music of Northern Utah.
Chris Bodily
Chris Bodily has worked as a freelance artist for more than twenty years. He's the author and illustrator of the Halloween-based graphic novel series, Black Lantern. His illustration style is known for its bold line work and dark humor, inspired by cartoons, comic books, tattoos, and graffiti.
Chris is the recipient of the 2024 Ogden City Mayor’s Award for Visual Art as well as the 2015 Utah Arts Festival People's Choice Award. Additionally he has received two Del Close Awards, a City Weekly Arty Award, an Indie Ogden Award, and was named one of Ogden’s 40 Under 40.
Anna Lythgoe
Born and raised in Utah, Anna is a seasoned graphic designer with over a decade of experience crafting visually compelling solutions for a diverse range of projects, from logo designs and catalogs to packaging and branding. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the University of Utah and has since built a versatile portfolio that reflects her keen eye for detail and her passion for impactful design. Outside of her design work, she enjoys spending time with her family and working on their small farm.
